FORTITUDE
At Fortitude we have first hand experience of armed forces life and life in the emergency services.
Our team have all served in or are connected to the armed forces and have worked with emergency services including fire fighters, healthcare staff, police and ambulance staff.
Many of our therapists with a military background have undertaken operational deployments around the world. We can provide a rare level of empathy and understanding about the unique demands of these roles due our work with military and emergency service charities in supporting these groups.

We work alongside several military and Blue Light Charities including Call 4 Back Up, The Royal Marines Association and the SBS Association.
Life as part of the blue light and forces family brings its own unique challenges and difficulties. It is not uncommon that people in these roles find it difficult to seek help, we understand that concern and can provide a safe and secure way to access the help that you need.

The idea that people just don't 'get' the ongoing demands of fast paced occupational roles. Our experience means this is not something our clients need to worry about.

You don't need to explain the acronym or spend precious time trying to convey your circumstances or the culture in which you exist, we know, and have experience helping people in your environment and situations.

We understand that families who are the support at home, have their own struggles. It is not easy and the juggling act of having a loved one a stressful and demanding job is often overlooked, we have seen how this takes its toll on everybody.

We have the skills, the knowledge and the experience. Our reputation within the armed forces mental health service, veteran and emergency service charities speaks for itself, and you can rest assured that we are here to offer the support you need.
